Race around the Castle 10km : Lancaster

The Race around the Castle is a 10 km road race organised by Lancaster Runners and scheduled for 11 April 2027. The event base is listed as Holiday Inn LA1 3RA. The course includes a loop that goes around the battlements of Lancaster Castle before returning to the start area.

All finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and the first three female finishers. Veterans prizes are offered but depend on the number of entries in each category. The event holds a UKA licence number 28686.

Entry is available online and on the day. Online entry fees are shown by affiliation: affiliated club athletes £24, unaffiliated athletes £25, and Lancaster Runner's Club athletes £19; some online portals may charge an additional fee. Entries on race day are accepted for cash only with fees of £25 for affiliated athletes, £25 for unaffiliated athletes, and £20 for Lancaster Runner's Club athletes.
