About the race
Race to the Castle 10km, part of the Lancaster Race Series, takes place at Holiday Inn, LA1 3RA, Lancaster. The 10‑kilometre course features a dramatic loop around Lancaster Castle battlements before returning to the finish. Medals are awarded to all finishers, with prizes for the first three men and first three women; veterans prizes depend on entry.
Online entry prices vary by affiliation: £21 for affiliated club runners, £23 for unaffiliated, and £17 for Lancaster Runners Club members. Day‑of entries are cash‑only. Male course record is 35:15 and female course record is 37:07 (2024).
