Chip timing is used for the race start, and several pacing groups are available. There is a time limit of 4 hours for the half marathon, which corresponds to a pace of approximately 18 minutes and 19 seconds per mile.
All participants receive a finisher medal. The first 1000 registrants are guaranteed a long-sleeve technical shirt; other participants will receive a shirt that may be a different style.
Age group awards are given for categories ranging from 12-19 to 70+. In 2026, the winner of the half marathon will receive $500 for establishing a new course record.
