Race to Space Marathon & Half Marathon
The Race to Space Marathon & Half Marathon takes place in Huntsville, Alabama, featuring multiple distances over a single weekend. The event includes three primary categories:

- Race to Space Half Marathon
- Saturn "V" 5K
The course starts at the Bridge Street Town Centre and leads participants through Cummings Research Park, which is the second largest research park in the United States. Runners pass by several major aerospace companies during the race. The routes are described as flat and designed as high-energy loops.
The event utilizes chip timing and provides multiple pacing groups for participants. On Sunday, the marathon course has a strict 6-hour time limit, while the half marathon must be completed within 4 hours. Marathon participants must reach the 12.9-mile split before 2 hours and 50 minutes to continue on the second loop; those who do not meet this cutoff are redirected to the half marathon finish.
All participants receive a finisher medal and a shirt. The first 1000 registered runners are guaranteed a long-sleeve technical shirt. A post-race party is held at the Bridge Street Town Centre, featuring live music and various vendors.
