5K Race to Replace Hate
The 3rd annual 5K Race to Replace Hate is part of the Annual Asian Heritage Fest at Asia Times Square in Grand Prairie, Texas. The festival runs May 8 to May 10, 2026, and the race takes place on May 9, 2026. Registration is available for an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K; the in-person registration fee is listed as $35.
Net registration proceeds will be donated to the Texas chapter of the Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association. Registered participants receive a race bib with timing chip, a performance shirt labeled Race to Replace Hate, a custom finisher medal, and entry into a raffle for two tickets and two jerseys to the Texas Rangers Asian Heritage Night on May 29. Additional items are provided by event sponsors.
Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers. Prizes include trophies, cash awards for first and second places, and vendor credits for the Asian Heritage Fest. Kids aged three and under may run free with a parent. Dogs and strollers are allowed with instructions to line up by pace with walkers toward the back.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Asia Times Square on May 8 and on race day. The event has a no refund policy and will proceed rain or shine unless unsafe conditions require delay, course alteration, or cancellation. A virtual option ships the shirt and medal by mail.
