Race The Tram Edinburgh : event overview

Race The Tram Edinburgh takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026 at Edinburgh Park Central tram station. The event is organised by Blast Running and limits entries to a maximum of 500 participants. Runners choose a tram start point, board the tram to that point, then run their own route back to Edinburgh Park Central; the race begins when the tram doors open. The event is not chip timed. Successful participants receive a goodie bag and a race memento. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers from each tram start location. Under 17s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There are no road closures for the event; participants are responsible for their own safety. Entry fee is £20, with an optional £1 charity donation.
