Race of The Runways 5K
The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach presents the 17th anniversary Race of The Runways at Flagler Executive Airport in Palm Coast on February 27, 2027. The event is an evening 5K held along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Participants are encouraged to wear glow-in-the-dark clothing and light-up costumes; prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Glow sticks are not allowed.

Registration and fees follow tiered pricing: $40 through December 31, 2026; $45 January 1 through February 20, 2027; $50 February 21 through race day. Youth pricing lists $20 through February 27, 2027 and $25 day of race. The Kiddie Dash registration fee is $5 and does not include a t-shirt. All pre-registered runners who complete registration and payment by January 31, 2027 are guaranteed a race T-shirt; Kiddie Dash is excluded.
Packet pick up is at Flagler Executive Airport with a Friday pickup and additional day of pickup as listed by the organizer. Free parking is available at the airport. Participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to the numbered bib. Finishers receive medals. Because this is an airport event, dogs are not allowed. Strollers are welcome.
