Race details
The Race of The Runways 5K is presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach and takes place at Flagler Executive Airport in Palm Coast, Florida on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The event is an evening run/walk held on airport runways with illuminated sections and a circling helicopter searchlight. Participants may wear glow-in-the-dark clothing and light-up costumes; prizes will be awarded for costume winners. Glow sticks are not permitted.

Registration, logistics and awards
Registration fees: $40 through February 6; $45 February 7–27 and day of race. Youth pricing for ages 12 and under is $20 through February 27 and $25 day of race. Kiddie Dash entry is $5 and does not include a T-shirt. Packet pickup and registration are available the day before at Flagler Executive Airport and on race day at the venue. The first 500 pre-registered runners who complete registration by February 6 are guaranteed a race T-shirt; race-day T-shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed. Free parking is available at the airport.
Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the numbered bib; participants receive finisher medals. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted. Awards include overall male and female winners, age-group prizes, and Best Male, Female and Team “Light Up The Runway” costume awards.
