Race of Hope Southampton : 2026

The Race of Hope Southampton is a community 5k run and walk held in Southampton, NY on August 2, 2026. The course loops around Lake Agawam and draws participants from the broader tri-state area, including runners, walkers, corporate teams, families, and children. The event is organized by the Hope for Depression Research Foundation and raises funds and awareness for depression research; all funds raised are directed to that research effort.

Participants receive race packets and gear for the first 950 packet pick ups, including a jacket or pullover, hat, shirt, and race bib. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given across overall, masters, and age division categories. The event includes a fundraising challenge with top categories for most funds raised by individuals and team captains, and an award for largest team.

Operational notes: strollers and dogs are permitted only in the last start corral. The event is held rain or shine and the organizer’s stated policy is no refunds.
