Race Judicata 5K : Akron, OH
The Race Judicata 5K takes place on April 21, 2026, at the University of Akron School of Law and is held in Akron, Ohio. The event includes a Community 5K Run/Walk and a University of Akron Law Student 5K Run/Walk. All proceeds benefit the Akron Bar Foundation, which provides scholarships and law related grants.
The course is entirely on sidewalks around the University of Akron campus. The start and finish are at the School of Law; mapped mile markings and a separate JAR reference are noted as incorrect on the posted map but the course description reflects the actual route. Detailed turn-by-turn directions describe a loop that travels along Wolf Ledges Parkway, Carroll Street, East Exchange, Spicer Street, Vine Street, Coleman Commons, Buchtel Avenue, Hill Street, and areas near Guzzetta Hall, Sisler-McFarland, and Crouse buildings.
Awards are presented to top male and female finishers in multiple categories, including Top Overall, Top Attorney, Top Judge or Magistrate, Top Law Student, age group winners for 24 and under, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, 65 to 74, 75 and over, and a Tortoise award for the last finisher.
