Race into Finals 5k at Kent State University
The Race into Finals is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Proceeds benefit the College of Nursing Student Emergency Fund. The event includes two distances and open participation in a run or walk format.

Online registration is available in 2025 and closes April 30, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile. A student discount of $10 is available with the coupon code Student. A referral offer provides a $5 refund when two people are referred.
Event services include race timing, post-race snacks, and an exclusive soft T-shirt for registrations completed by April 23 to guarantee a shirt. Packet pickup is available on race day, with an early pickup option on the Friday before the event at Henderson Hall. Free parking is offered at Henderson Hall R8 lot and C Science Lots; R8 lot access will be closed during the race.
Prizes and recognitions cover top finishers overall and by age group for male and female divisions, a Middle of the Pack finisher award, a School Your Professor challenge, and tickets to a local baseball game.
