Race in the Park - Townsville Road Runners
Townsville Road Runners stages Race in the Park at Anderson Park in Mundingburra on 3 October 2026. The event uses a spiralled course within Anderson Gardens with start and finish near the park conservatory.

The long course covers three loops inside Anderson Park with a short section on the footpath near Kokoda Pool. The first loop is on grass inside the park internal circular road, the second loop follows the internal circular road, and the third loop runs mainly around the park perimeter with a detour into Mindham Park.
The short course consists of two loops inside Anderson Park. The first loop is on grass inside the internal circular road and the second loop follows the internal circular road. Both courses start and finish near the conservatory.
Entry is free for members and costs $6 for non members. Registration for the event closes 2 October 2026. The event earns club points and organisers suggest wearing trail shoes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
