Race in the Clouds - Alma Dirt Festival takes place June 25-28, 2026 in Alma, Colorado. The main venue is Alma Cemetery Meadow at about 10,600 ft elevation. The weekend includes mountain bike races, trail running, an off-road duathlon, youth races, and weekend camping. Some race entries have registration deadlines and some prices increase after December 31, 2025.

Courses, camping and other information
Courses mix single-track, forest service roads, and graded county roads. Each loop includes two large climbs and descents on high-country terrain. The start/finish meadow is about half a mile from downtown Alma and allows dispersed camping with porta-potties and trash containers. Athletes receive a camping discount with race entry; early arrival is allowed with a camping pass. Post-race food and beer from a local brewery are listed as available.
Awards and participation
Overall awards are given to top Men, Women and Non-Binary finishers in each format. Age group awards cover U23, 24-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Separate high school and middle school divisions are provided; parents or coaches may receive a free entry code to race alongside a registered youth athlete.
