Event details
Race for Warmth is a community 5k/10k run and walk organized by Clark Public Utilities on January 25, 2026. It is the event's 12th year. Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k
The event includes a Kids Fun Run and published route maps for both the 5k and 10k courses.
Registration and purpose
The race supports Operation Warm Heart, a Clark Public Utilities donation-funded program that helps limited-income families pay their winter heating or electric bills. Every dollar of Race for Warmth registration is donated to Operation Warm Heart. Since 2015 the race has raised nearly $560,000 for local families.
Standard registration is listed at $40 and includes run/walk participation, a long sleeve performance shirt (guaranteed size if registered by December 31), a bib number, and a draw string backpack with goodies. A group discount offers $10 off each registration for groups of 10 or more. Day-of registration is available for a higher fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
