Race for the Parks : Hudson Springs Park, May 3, 2026
Race for the Parks is held on May 3, 2026 at Hudson Springs Park in Hudson, Ohio. The event offers two distance options:
- 5k
- 10k
The course combines non-technical groomed trail and adjacent neighborhood roads, providing varied terrain that includes some hills. The 5k is one loop of the route and the 10k consists of two loops. The course passes a 50-acre lake and moves through forested sections where wildlife such as deer, foxes, or herons may be observed.
All participants receive a finisher medal and one of two apparel options: a triblend tee or an upgraded Brooks Podium Tech tee available for an additional premium. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each event, and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 70 and over.
Donations collected at the event benefit Friends of Hudson Parks. The race is part of the Western Reserve Racing series of chip-timed road races that include events for casual walkers and runners as well as more competitive participants.
