Event Details
The Race for the Parks takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The event offers two distances: a 5k and a 10k.
Location
The event is held at Hudson Springs Park in Hudson, Ohio.
Course
The course is a combination of groomed, non-technical trails and neighborhood roads. It includes some hills. The route passes a 50-acre lake and goes through forest areas, where wildlife such as foxes, deer, and herons may be seen. The 5k consists of one loop, while the 10k is two loops of the same course.
Registration and Swag
Registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k. All participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. There is also a premium swag option involving a different tech tee.
Awards and Charity
The race is chip-timed by Western Reserve Racing. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each event, as well as the top three in multiple 5-year age groups.
