Race for Rest Presented by Monday Night Brewing
The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta presents the 13th annual Race for Rest, a community 5K held at Monday Night Brewing's Garage at Lee + White in Atlanta. The course runs along the Beltline and is a chipped Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Participants receive event amenities including a free beer for those 21 and over, Dancing Goats Coffee, and a Furniture Bank tote bag. Runners who register for the 5K by October 10 are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Registration options include a paid entry and a sponsor entry with no fee.
Packet pick-up is available before race day at specified locations and times, and on-site packet pick-up and on-site registration are offered on race day at the registration table. The venue is Marta accessible and offers parking; organizers note carpooling or rideshare as options.
Awards are presented for Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Masters Male and Female, age-group medals across multiple brackets (14 & under; 15-20; 21-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+), and Top 3 fundraising teams. Team awards for fastest average time require five or more team members. An official after-party at Monday Night Garage follows the 5K, with live music and award presentations.
