Race for Rest Presented by Monday Night Brewing
The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta presents the 12th annual Race for Rest, a chip timed 5K held in Atlanta on October 24, 2026. The course runs along the Beltline and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. The start and finish are at Monday Night Brewing's Garage location at Lee + White, 933 Lee St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. The venue is MARTA accessible and offers ample parking.
Per-event amenities include a guaranteed event t-shirt for registrants who sign up by October 10, a free beer for participants aged 21 and over provided by Monday Night Garage, and coffee from Dancing Goats Coffee. There will be an official after party at the Garage with live music and award presentations.
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Masters Male and Female, and Male and Female age group winners for ages 14 and under, 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Team awards will recognize the Top 3 teams by fastest average time; teams must have five or more people to be eligible. Awards will also acknowledge the top three fundraising teams.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for October 22 and October 23 with locations and times to be announced. On-site packet pick-up and registration will be available on race day; registrants picking up their packet before race day may arrive later the morning of the event.
