Race for Relief 5K - Harrisonburg
The Race for Relief 5K is scheduled for October 3, 2026 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds, 4808 S Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The race is presented as part of the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale.
Registration opens August 3, 2026 and closes September 20, 2026. The early registration fee through September 20 is $25 and includes a free T-shirt. After September 20 the fee increases to $35 and a T-shirt is not guaranteed. T-shirts and bibs are distributed at check in, and in-person registration is available at check in.
Check in and in-person registration are located at the pavilion behind the auction building on the back side of the fairgrounds. All participants must check in to receive their bib and T-shirt.
The course follows the same route used in previous years. It will be marked with flags and course marshals will be stationed along the route. Maps will be available for viewing at check in.
Awards are given at the finish line to the top three finishers in each of these age categories: Boys 13 and Under, Girls 13 and Under, Men ages 14 and Up, and Women ages 14 and Up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
