Race For Men Salisbury

Race For Men is a family festival sporting event held at Hudson's Field in Salisbury. The event includes a multi-distance, chip-timed running programme and an afternoon of community activities, music, food, and a licensed bar.

Runners follow a multi-terrain course that is roughly 50 percent pavement or road and 50 percent off-road trails. The route passes from the Stonehenge area and visits Old Sarum Hill Fort, including the southern ancient ramparts with views over the City of New Sarum.

A five-a-side football tournament runs alongside the races. The tournament features 12 teams split into two groups of six, with each team guaranteed a minimum of five games. Two pitches are used and the event is estimated to last around three hours. Matches are seven minutes long, with the final lasting ten minutes. Team entry costs £70.

The family programme includes live music on a main stage, inflatable attractions such as an assault course and castle, face painting, and food stalls. The event supports the Stars Appeal Prostate Cancer and Urology fund. Race For Men has raised £59,866 to date and works to increase awareness of prostate and testicular cancer while raising funds for related services in Salisbury.
