Windsor 10k
The event takes place at Royal Windsor Racecourse and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Routes run between the racetrack and the River Thames and follow a mix of tarmac, hardstanding, grass and gravel. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course and some sections of the route are quite narrow. In wet weather grass sections may become slippery and some assistance could be required.

The start and finish areas are on grass opposite the main racecourse buildings; stewards will direct participants from the main carpark. The event is chip-timed and participants receive a Race for Life medal on finishing. A fundraising pack, a customisable back sign and training support are provided to registered participants.
Ticketing and age rules are specified for the event: adult and child prices are listed, child entries are for ages 6 to 15 and children under 6 may attend free but are not registered participants. A minimum fundraising target is set for the event.
Facilities noted at the site include free parking, bag drop, toilets, refreshments and showers. The venue is wheelchair accessible with assistance; blue badge parking is available closer to the main event site. Dogs are not permitted at this venue.
