Race for Life Winchester 5k 2027
Race for Life Winchester 5k is organised by Cancer Research UK at North Walls Recreation Ground in Winchester, Hampshire on Sunday 16 May 2027. The start and finish are on grass. The course runs mainly on grass and tarmac paths around the fields of North Walls Recreation Ground and Winchester Rugby Club. Over half of the route is grass with no path alternative. The route includes a small uphill incline after passing Nuns Walk; an alternative route can bypass this incline but may shorten the course. In wet weather grass sections and the start area may become soft or muddy.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The site is suitable for pushchairs and is wheelchair accessible with assistance. There is no bag drop, no showers, and no on site bike racks. Blue badge parking on tarmac is available approximately 100 metres from the event site.
