The course start and finish are on grass. The route runs mainly on grass and tarmac paths around the fields of North Walls Recreation Ground and Winchester Rugby Club. The route includes a small uphill section after passing Nuns Walk. Over 50 percent of the course is on grass with no path alternative, so wheelchair users and pushchairs may require assistance, especially in wet conditions. A short incline is present before entering Nuns Road.
On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The event is suitable for pushchairs and is described as wheelchair accessible with assistance. Bag drop, showers, and on-site parking are not available. Blue Badge parking and drop off are located at River Park Leisure Centre Car Park. Volunteer parking is at Hillier Way Car Park, about a five minute walk to the site. The nearest bus and train stations are approximately a 15 minute walk or a 6 minute taxi ride away.
