Race for Life Swansea
Race for Life in Swansea takes place on Sunday 17 May 2026 at Museum Park and Museum Green, in front of Swansea Waterfront Museum. Entry information lists an age guideline of 16 and over. The 10k route starts and finishes on grass and is otherwise on hardstanding. The 10k course is described as relatively flat, heads towards the coast along Mumbles Road, includes a U turn and continues toward the Marina. Parts of the coastal sections can be sandy depending on recent weather. The total ascent across the course is 40 m with the highest ascent being 6 m over 500 m. The narrowest sections measure about 4.5 m for 100 to 200 m.
Travel and local arrangements note nearby car parks, a 15 minute walk from Swansea train station, bike racks on Museum Green and a closest electric charging point at East Burrows Car Park about 0.7 miles away. Drop offs are convenient along Burrows Place.
The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Dropped curbs are provided and sunflower lanyards are available at the enquiries marquee. Facilities listed include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs and suitability for pushchairs.
