Sutton Coldfield 10k
This event at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, takes place on Sunday 04 July 2027 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Two distances are offered:
- 10k (double lap of the 5k course)
- 5k
The course start and finish are on grass. The route includes woodland paths, grassed areas, tarmac and hardstanding paths, with some flat and hilly sections. The 10k follows two laps of the 5k route. The start and finish area is a large field near the Jamboree Stone; the Streetly Gate entrance is the designated access point.
Parking for the event is provided within Sutton Park via the Streetly Gate entrance and is on grass; attendees should expect about a ten minute walk from parking to the event area. Blue Badge parking is available and follows the same access arrangements. There are no electric charging points and no cycle parking provided. Public transport access includes local bus routes and Sutton Coldfield train station, which is around a 20 minute walk to the park.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. The site and course are described as wheelchair accessible with assistance, though some uneven and undulating sections may require support. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.
