Race for Life Sutton Coldfield - 10k
The event takes place on Sunday 05 July 2026 at Sutton Park. Entry is open to people aged 16 and over; published entry fees show £17.49 for ages 16 and over and £11.00 for children. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
The 10k course is two laps of the 5k route. The start and finish are on grass on a large field just down from the Jamboree Stone. The route uses a mixture of woodland paths and grassed areas and then mainly tarmac and hardstanding paths; there are some flat and hilly sections.
The Streetly Gate entrance is the designated access point for the start and finish. A what3words location is given for the exact starting point: gone.result.always. Event parking, drop off and Blue Badge parking are located within Sutton Park via the Streetly Gate entrance; all parking is on grass and there is typically a ten minute walk from the event car park to the event site. The nearest train station is Sutton Coldfield, about a 20 minute walk. Multiple bus routes and pedestrian gates provide additional walking routes into the park.
On site facilities include refreshments and toilets; dogs are permitted and the site is described as suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair accessible. Event staff can provide assistance, sunflower wristbands are available, and a QR code provides British Sign Language stage content.
