Race for Life St Albans : Verulamium Park
The event is organised by Cancer Research UK at Verulamium Park, Holywell Hill, St Albans, AL1 2DL. The start and finish are on the grass area adjacent to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre; the meeting point is the field next to the leisure centre.
The course is mostly on grass with a few slopes. The 10k route consists of two laps of the 5k route. The event is chip timed.

Travel and access notes state that parking within Verulamium Park is not available. Multi-storey car parks in St Albans city centre are a short walk from the park. Blue badge parking is available in the Westminster Lodge carpark adjacent to the main event site. Bus services include routes 302, 321, 724 and 84. St Albans Abbey station is about a 15 minute walk via Holywell Hill; St Albans City station is about a 36 minute walk via Victoria Street. Bike racks are available.
