Race for Life St Albans
Race for Life St Albans takes place at Verulamium Park in St. Albans on Sunday 18 July 2027 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Distances on offer include:

The start and finish are on the grass area adjacent to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, with the meeting point on the field next to the leisure centre. The 10k route comprises two laps of the 5k route. The course is mostly on grass, includes some slopes, and uses a mix of tarmac, grass and woodland. There are inclines and declines near the back of the athletics track; an alternative route can bypass these but may shorten the course. In wet weather grass and woodland sections may become soft, muddy or slippery.
The event is chip timed. Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets and permission for dogs. Bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not suitable for pushchairs and is not wheelchair accessible; alternative accessible events are noted nearby. Parking is not permitted inside Verulamium Park; drop off is in the Westminster Lodge carpark and blue badge parking is available adjacent to the main site. Public transport options include several local buses and nearby train stations, with St Albans Abbey station about a seven minute walk via Holywell Hill.
