Race for Life Sheffield
Race for Life Sheffield takes place in Graves Park, Hemsworth Road, Norton, Sheffield S8 8LL. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and offers chip timed and shorter routes to support fundraising for cancer research.
The main 10k is a double lap route through rolling parkland, mature woodland and open fields. Paved and compact paths feature gentle rises and dips. The start and finish area is on grass beside the animal park. The course includes hardstanding, grass and woodland paths and may become soft or muddy in wet weather. Woodland sections may be narrow and could experience congestion. There are small inclines and declines on the route.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and pushchairs are suitable. Parking is available in a field on Cobnar Road with a five minute walk to the event site that includes a steep and gradual incline. Limited Blue Badge parking is available at the animal farm entrance. There are no bike racks and the event is not wheelchair accessible.
Entry fees shown include earlybird prices of £8.74 for aged 16 and over and £5.50 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training materials, access to a community group and a Race for Life medal.
