The start and finish are on grass in the field next to the Animal Farm. The course combines grass, surfaced paths and woodland trails and includes sloping downhills and uphill gradients. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course. The precise course map is provided by the organiser and may be subject to change.
Travel and parking information notes general event parking in the field in front of the cricket pavilion on Cobnar Road, a 5 minute walk to the event site that includes a steep and gradual incline. Drop-off zones and limited Blue Badge parking are available at the Animal Farm entrance and Cobnar Road. The nearest electric car charging point is at Morrisons Meadowhead, S8 7UE. The closest pedestrian entrance and nearest bus stop are on Hemsworth Road, about a 5 minute walk; the number 20 bus serves the area. The nearest train station is Sheffield, about 4 miles away. There are no bike racks.
Facilities include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and parking. The route is assessed as not wheelchair accessible. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content are available.
