Redditch 10k (Race for Life)
The event takes place at Arrow Valley Park, Battens Drive, Redditch B98 0LJ. The start and finish are on the grass area adjacent to the park car park next to the leisure centre. The course uses a mixture of terrain and runs along woodland areas, the lake and fields of Arrow Valley Park.
Distances:
- 10k, double lap of the 5k route through woodland, lake and fields
- 5k, single lap along woodland, lake and fields
The route is mostly flat and on paths, and is described as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. There are a couple of grass sections that may be unsuitable in poor weather; in that case the course may be slightly shorter. The event is chip-timed.
Practical information includes event parking on Padgets Lane Industrial Estate, approximately a 15 minute walk from the site, with blue badge parking located within Arrow Valley Park next to the event site. There are no electric charging points or bike racks. Available facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, showers, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs, and accessible parking arrangements for blue badge holders.
