Redditch Race for Life at Arrow Valley Park
This Race for Life event takes place at Arrow Valley Park in Redditch, with start and finish on the grass area adjacent to the park car park next to the leisure centre. The course uses a mixture of terrain and runs through woodland, alongside the lake and across park fields.
Available distances:
- 10k - a double lap of the 5k route
- 5k - single lap through woodland and parkland
The route is mostly flat and on paths and is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance; there are a couple of grass sections that may be unsuitable in poor weather, in which case the course could be slightly shorter. The event is chip-timed.
Travel and parking notes are provided: event parking is on Padgets Lane Industrial Estate, approximately a 15 minute walk to the site; drop-off points are on Padgets Lane or at the park entrance on Battens Drive. Blue badge parking and volunteer parking are located within Arrow Valley Park next to the event site. There are no electric vehicle charging points or bike racks.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, permission for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access. Bag drop and showers are noted as not available or not suitable.
