Rutland Pretty Muddy 5k
The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course taking place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at The Rutland Showground in Oakham, LE15 7TW. Participants climb, crawl and slide around a 5 kilometre course and may proceed at their own pace. There is no requirement to finish in a set time.
The start and finish are on grass within the showground. The course runs entirely on grass and may be uneven; in bad weather sections can become soft and muddy. The meeting point is on a grassy section near the rugby club, clearly visible from the on site car park.
Entry carries a minimum fundraising target of £50. Published entry fees are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. To take part entrants must be 13 years or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under.
On site facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. There are no electric charging points in the car park and no cycle parking. Blue badge parking will be directed by stewards.
Organisers provide a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans, access to an online community and a Race for Life medal for finishers.
