Rutland Pretty Muddy 5k
The Rutland Pretty Muddy event is a 5 km obstacle course held within The Rutland Showground in Oakham, Rutland. The course is run entirely on grass; terrain may be uneven and in bad weather can become soft and muddy. The start and finish are on the same grass section near the rugby club and are a short walk from the on-site car park.
Obstacles involve climbing, crawling and sliding; participants are invited to tackle each obstacle at their own pace and marshals will assist if an obstacle needs to be skipped. Event start times are arranged in staggered waves every 15 minutes.
Entry categories and financial details listed for this event include adult and child prices and a minimum fundraising target of £50. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under.
On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and parking. The on-site car park is on grass and may become soft in wet weather; there are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle racks. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs.
