Portsmouth 10k : Race for Life
The event takes place at Southsea Common in Portsmouth on Sunday 09 May 2027 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Distances on the day include:

The 10k follows a flat route around Southsea Common, taking in views of Ladies Mile and the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. The start and finish are on the grass at Southsea Common by Serpentine Road, on the adjacent field to Clarence Esplanade.
Surfaces include tarmac and grass and the course is described as nearly entirely flat. In wet weather the grass areas may become soft or muddy. The site notes the start and finish areas are flat and firm underfoot in normal conditions but may require extra assistance in poor weather.
Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access with assistance. Bag drop and showers are not available. Blue Badge parking is available on surrounding roads, approximately 300 m from the event site. The nearest train station is Portsmouth and Southsea.
Entry pricing and fundraising details shown for earlybird places include prices from £5.50 to £8.74 and a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and community support, and a Race for Life medal on completion.
