Race for Life Plymouth : The Hoe
Organised by Cancer Research UK at The Hoe, Hoe Promenade, Plymouth (PL1 2PA), this event offers two running distances and a coastal park setting.

The course starts and finishes on hardstanding and runs on paved paths, closed roads around the Hoe and pathways in Hoe Gardens. Runners should expect some steep inclines and uneven surfaces. The route includes inclines and declines at Lambhay Hill and Cliff Road; Lambhay Hill has a maximum gradient of about 6.2% (1:16). The course surface is tarmac and hardstanding; in wet weather tarmac and compact grass areas may become slippery. Congestion is possible within the Hoe on race day.
Entry and participation details: the main event is for ages 16 and over. Child entry applies for ages 6 to 15 and must be registered by and accompanied on the day by a parent or guardian or by an adult with parental consent. Children under 6 may attend free but will not be registered participants. Ticket prices listed are £20.49 for adults and £14.00 for child entries. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies.
On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, and suitability for pushchairs. The event is not wheelchair accessible.
