About the race
Race for Life Northampton takes place at Abington Park in Northampton on Sunday 11 Jul 2027. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and includes chip timing for the main 10k route.
The course starts and finishes at the top of the park field next to the event parking and runs through Abington Park on a mix of pathways and grass. The route leaves the main path at times and can become boggy in poor weather. The start and finish areas are on the same grass field.

Entry categories and fees listed for the event include adult and child prices, with a minimum fundraising target. Child entry applies to ages 6 to 15 and must be registered by a parent or guardian or by an adult over 18 with parental consent. Children under 6 can attend free but are not registered participants.
Facilities noted on site include refreshments, toilets and parking on grass. Bag drop and showers are not available or suitable. Blue badge parking and volunteer parking are provided within the event car park. Public transport options include numerous bus routes to Abington Park, Northampton train station about 4 miles away, and bike racks in the park.
