Northampton 3k, Race for Life
The Northampton 3k takes place on Sunday 12 July 2026 at Abington Park, Abington Park Crescent, Northampton NN3 3AD. The event is open to people aged 16 and over. The listed entry prices are £14.99 for adults and £10.00 for children, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
The start and finish are located at the top of the main field, alongside the event parking. The route runs through Abington Park and follows a mix of paved pathways and grass. The course leaves the main path in places and can become boggy in poor weather; terrain throughout the park is uneven.
Facilities noted for the event include refreshments, toilets, parking and allowance for dogs. Bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not suitable for the course. Blue badge parking is available in the general event car park, which is on grass. Drop offs and volunteer parking are also on site. The nearest electric vehicle charging points are at The County Cricket Ground next to the park.
Public transport options include numerous local bus routes to Abington Park and Northampton train station approximately four miles away. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support, access to an online community, and a Race for Life medal on finishing.
