Race for Life Milton Keynes : Willen Lake, 06 June 2027
This Race for Life event takes place at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes on 06 June 2027. The route runs around the lake and is mainly on tarmacked and hardstanding paths with some sections on grass and through woodland. The course is a double lap and the start and finish are on grass.
The start and finish area is on grass between the splash park and the play area, next to the ferris wheel. That grass area is uneven, slightly sloped and can become soft or muddy in wet weather. The course includes a split point where congestion may occur.
Travel and parking information notes that event parking is available in the Willen Lake car parks, parking charges apply and an ANPR pay on arrival system operates. The event site is about a 10 minute walk from the car parks. Blue badge parking is available in Car Park B. There are no electric charging points. The nearest train station is about 1 mile away. Bus stops close to the venue include H6 on Childs Wat and Pagoda Roundabout on the A509. Push bike racks are next to Willen Lake B Car Park.
Facilities available include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, showers, support for pushchairs and dogs, and wheelchair accessibility with assistance. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and the events are chip timed.
