About the race
Race for Life Milton Keynes is a fundraising running event organised by Cancer Research UK at Willen Lake, Brickhill Street, Milton Keynes (MK15 0DS). The route circles Willen Lake and includes a mix of surfaces: mainly tarmacked and hardstanding paths with sections of grass and woodland. The start and finish are on grass in the area between the splash park and the play area, next to the ferris wheel.

The course for the 10k uses a double-lap layout. The lap split point may become congested. In wet weather grass and woodland sections may be soft, muddy or slippery and could require additional assistance. The event site ground is uneven and slightly sloped.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, dog-friendly routes, pushchair suitability, and wheelchair access with assistance. Parking is available in Willen Lake car parks with charges and ANPR pay-on-arrival systems; Blue Badge parking is located in Car Park B approximately 200 m from the event site. There are no electric vehicle charging points on site. Cycle parking is next to Willen Lake B Car Park. Public transport options include nearby bus stops and Milton Keynes train station about 1 mile away.
