Race for Life Manchester is a chip-timed 10k event held at Heaton Park in Prestwich, Manchester on Sunday 05 Jul 2026. The event has an age minimum of 16 and sets a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees shown are £17.49 for those aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children.
The course starts, finishes and has the event site on predominantly flat grass. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route and combines grass, surfaced paths and woodland trails with various elevations. The meeting point and start line are in The Bowl area of the park, near Heaton Hall and close to the Boating Lake.
Travel and parking information includes general event parking at Lakeside Car Park on Sheepfoot Lane with pay and display charges (hourly rate £3.50) and a 5 to 10 minute walk to the event site. There are no electric charging points on site. The nearest public transport access is the Metrolink stop at Heaton Park; the closest bus stop for access is Victoria Avenue. Train stations are in Manchester city centre, approximately 6 miles away. Cycle parking is available at the visitor centre.
