Race for Life Luton takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 at Stockwood Park in Luton. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and has an age restriction of 16 and over.
Available distances
- 10k
- 5k
- 3k
The start and finish are on grass. The route uses a mixture of grass fields and tarmac paths; the 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. The start line is located in the middle of the football pitch at the top of the large field adjacent to the event car park and Farley Hill. The finish is a little further down the hill near the event site.
Parking is on a grass field next to the event site, approximately 50 to 150 metres from the event area. An electric vehicle charging point is available within the Stockwood Park Discovery Centre car park; a charge applies. There are no bike racks for this event. The closest train station is Luton Railway Station, about 1.2 miles from the park. Bus stops near the park include Farley Farm Road for the 46 and a London Road stop used by the 321 route.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. The course may be unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and pushchairs because parts are uneven and can become boggy. Sunflower wristbands are available and event managers are Dementia Friends trained. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal upon finishing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
