Herne Bay 10k event
The event takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 as part of Race for Life, organised by Cancer Research UK to raise funds for cancer research. Entrants must be aged 16 and over. The published entry prices are £17.49 for adults and £11.00 for children. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00.

The course start and finish are on grass within Hampton Pier Recreation Ground. The route runs mainly on sea wall paths and roads. It is mostly flat but includes some steep inclines and declines along the road and Tankerton slopes. Events are chip timed.
Venue and travel information note that there is no specific participant parking and surrounding on street parking is available. Blue badge parking is available in Swalecliffe Avenue Car Park with steward guidance. The nearest train station is Herne Bay, about one mile away. There are no bike racks on site. Electric vehicle charging points are located around 0.8 to 0.9 miles from the venue.
Facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop, showers and participant parking are not available.
Accessibility provisions include an assisted wheelchair access route that avoids two steep inclines, marshals to direct attendees, sunflower wristbands at enquiries and British Sign Language stage content via a QR code.
