Race for Life Hartlepool
Cancer Research UK stages a Race for Life event at Hartlepool Promenade, Coronation Drive, Hartlepool TS25 1NY. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over and supports fundraising for cancer research.

The start and finish are on hard standing. The course runs along the promenade, loops back via the road, then returns along a perimeter path to the finish. The 10k course comprises two laps of the 5k course. The event is chip timed.
Event parking is provided on the grass adjacent to the site but is limited. There are bus stops along Coronation Drive and Hartlepool train station is about a 30 minute walk from the venue. There are no dedicated bike racks noted.
Facilities on site include toilets and refreshments, and dogs are allowed. The course and event site include narrow pinch points and uneven grass; organisers recommend that wheelchair users attend with assistance. Sunflower wristbands are available and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Event managers are trained as Dementia Friends.
