Race for Life Folkestone is a fundraising running event held on Sunday 07 Jun 2026 at The Leas, outside The Grand, Folkestone, CT20 2XL. The event offers multiple distances:

The route starts and finishes on grass and follows the Leas with sea views. Runners descend a zig zag path onto the sea wall towards Sandgate, turn just before Sandgate, then return with a steep incline back up onto The Leas. The published course map is subject to change.
Entry fees and fundraising information are provided: an adult price of £17.49 for those aged 16 and over, a children’s price of £11.00, and a minimum fundraising target of £50. The event supports Cancer Research UK and participants receive event materials to help with fundraising.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The event is not suitable for pushchairs and is not wheelchair accessible due to the steep incline and the zig zag path. Bag drop and showers are not available. There is no specific event parking; a small number of blue badge spaces are allocated in front of The Grand. Folkestone West and Folkestone Central stations are approximately 1 mile away, about a 20 minute walk. The 10A bus stops near Metropole East.
