Race for Life Folkestone
Race for Life Folkestone is a 5k event held on 7 June 2026 at The Leas, outside The Grand, Folkestone CT20 2XL. The event is for people aged 16 and over and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees listed are £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children.
The course starts and finishes on grass and runs along the top of The Leas, offering sea views and a flat route with multiple viewing locations. The site is open and can be accessed from any direction along The Leas; the meeting point is directly in front of The Grand. Folkestone West and Folkestone Central stations are about 1 mile away. There is no specific event parking or drop off area, though a number of blue badge spaces are allocated in front of The Grand. Several nearby electric vehicle charging points are noted.
Facilities available on site include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access with assistance. Bag drop, showers, and general parking are not available. Sunflower wristbands are provided at the enquiries marquee, event managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
