The course is a double lap route predominantly on grass. The start and finish are on grass and the event site is mainly flat but can be uneven. There are some slight uphill and downhill gradients along the route.
The meeting point is on the playing fields in front of the Pavilion, near the basketball court. The what3words location is ///depend.salads.speak. There is no designated event parking; limited free street parking is available on nearby streets such as Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe. Drop offs can be made at the layby on Thorne Road, with a 250 m walk to the site on a mix of tarmac path and grass. The nearest train station is Doncaster, approximately 1 mile away. There are buses along Thorne Road, Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe. There are no bike racks on site. The closest electric car charging point is EB Charging Station on Chamber Road DN1 3BU.
Facilities listed as available include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed, pushchairs are suitable and the route is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Bag drop and showers are not available. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and a BSL QR code are provided to support accessibility.
