The course and event site are predominantly on grass. The start and finish are on grass and the route is a double lap, mostly flat with some slight uphill and downhill gradients. The meeting point is on the playing fields in front of the pavilion, near the basketball court. There is no designated event parking and limited on-street parking is available nearby; drop-off is at the Thorne Road layby, followed by a 250 m walk on tarmac and grass. The nearest train station is Doncaster, about one mile from the venue. There are bus services along Thorne Road, Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe. There are no bike racks at the event.
The event site provides refreshments and toilets, allows dogs, is suitable for pushchairs, and is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Sunflower wristbands and BSL stage content via QR code are available, and Event Managers have Dementia Friends training.
