Bristol 10k
This Race for Life event is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place at The Downs, Stoke Road, Bristol, BS9 1FG. Available distances for the event are listed below.

The start and finish are on grass on the outer perimeter of Durdham Downs and Clifton Downs. The course is mixed terrain with mainly grass surfaces and sections of tarmac and hardstanding. The 10k is a two lap route with an overall ascent of 56 m, mild inclines and a maximum gradient of 1.15. Some narrow sections run beside the wildflower meadow and congestion is possible there. In wet weather grass areas and soft ground may become muddy or slippery.
The 10k events are chip timed. Facilities at the event include refreshments, toilets, provision for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair access with assistance. Bag drop and showers are not available. Parking on The Downs is not permitted and nearby city centre car parks are used instead; Clifton Down Shopping Centre is noted as a nearby car park. There is limited disabled parking on Stoke Road with Blue Badge and clock displayed as required. Public transport options include local bus services near Black Boy Hill and a walk of roughly 16 minutes from Clifton train station.
Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support, access to a community group and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
