Race for Life Birmingham 5k
Race for Life Birmingham is scheduled for Sunday 17 May 2026 at Cannon Hill Park, Russell Rd, Edgbaston, Birmingham B13 8RD. The event is for participants aged 16 and over. The stated entry prices are £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
The course is a double lap of 2.5 km to make a total 5k. The start and finish are on grass and the route runs around the park paths. Around 900 m of the course is on grass and the remainder is on well maintained paths. The meeting point is the large grassed area behind the tennis courts, golf and fairground, next to the boating lake.
Parking is available at Cannon Hill Park Queen's Ride (pay and display) and is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the event site. The city operates a Clean Air Zone which may affect vehicle charges.
