Aylesbury 5k at Waddesdon Manor
Aylesbury 5k takes place on Wednesday 03 Jun 2026 at Waddesdon Manor. The event is open to people aged 16 and over. Standard entry fees listed are £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies.
The start and finish are on a grass field next to the main visitor car park, behind the visitor centre. The majority of the course is on tarmac with one short section on dense gravel at the front of the manor. The course layout is subject to change.
Parking is available free of charge in the main visitor car park, with drop off points and Blue Badge spaces nearby. Volunteer parking is also provided. There are four electric charging spaces suitable for a 16A EV Type 2 socket and bike racks next to the charging points. Public transport options are limited; the Red Rose No. 16 bus serves Waddesdon village and the nearest train station is Aylesbury Vale Parkway. A section of the Waddesdon Greenway is currently closed and not suitable for use.
Available facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed. The site is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs; the course is largely tarmac and is considered accessible for mobility aids. Sunflower wristbands are available on site, staff are trained Dementia Friends, and there will be a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support resources, access to an online community, and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
