Aylesbury 5k - Race for Life 2026
The Aylesbury 5k is a Race for Life event organised by Cancer Research UK at Waddesdon Manor on 3 June 2026. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over. Entry fees are listed as £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children, and a minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.
The start and finish are on grass beside the main visitor car park. The course is mostly on tarmac with a short section on dense gravel at the front of the manor. Course details are subject to change.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, parking, and bike racks. The site is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users; the organiser notes the course is appropriate for wheelchairs and mobility aids. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code on site provides British Sign Language stage content.
Travel information notes free parking in the main visitor car park with distances to the event site of approximately 100 to 400 metres depending on the parking area. Drop off and blue badge parking are approximately 100 metres from the site. Four electric vehicle charging bays are available (16A, Type 2) and are free to use with assistance from staff. Public transport options are limited; the Red Rose No. 16 bus serves Waddesdon village and the nearest train station is Aylesbury Vale Parkway. A section of the Waddesdon Greenway is currently closed.
Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and plans, access to a Facebook community, and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
