Race For Hope Greater Philadelphia
The Race For Hope Greater Philadelphia is a community 5K walk/run held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Cooper River Park, 5300 N Park Dr, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109. The event raises awareness and funds to support the needs of patients with a brain tumor and their families. It includes a Remembrance Ceremony, a Survivor March to the start line, an Opening Ceremony, and a Closing Ceremony with awards.
Participants can choose timed or untimed running or a walk at their own pace. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. Water is available at the halfway point of the 5K and at the event site, along with light snacks. The event proceeds rain or shine. Parking is free for all participants; attendees are advised to plan for large crowds and may use off-street parking.
In-person participants may receive an event t-shirt if registered prior to September 14, 2026; t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Registration fees during event week are listed by category: Timed Runner $30, Walker $25, Youth Timed Runner (12 and under) $10, and Youth Walker $5. Virtual participation is available with free registration; virtual participants who raise $75 or more by September 14 will have event t-shirts mailed to them and the shirts will arrive by event day.
Volunteers include groups, schools, community organizations, families and individuals. Volunteer registration is completed online and volunteers receive confirmation of assigned shifts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
