Activities and Location
The main activities take place at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont, California. Students participate in one of two events:
- A 5K walk, jog, or run for students in 4th through 8th grade.
- A Little Kids Dash for children in preschool through 3rd grade, which involves walking or jogging around a 0.33-mile loop for an hour.
A separate dash for preschool and transitional kindergarten students is held at the school's gym on the day before the main event.
Registration and Fundraising
Registration for both the 5K and the Little Kids Dash is free. The event is primarily a fundraiser. Students are encouraged to seek donations, with a suggested individual goal of $200.
