Race Back to School! Methacton 5K Walk or Run
Race Back to School! Methacton 5K Walk or Run takes place at Heebner Park in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Proceeds benefit the Methacton Backpack Program. The event is presented by the Methacton Education Foundation and Methacton Alumni and Friends.

- 1.5K kids fun run or walk for ages 12 and under, untimed
The 5K is a trail course that includes varied unpaved surfaces such as dirt and gravel. The 5K will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. The kids fun run is not timed and is limited to participants age 12 and under.
Awards are given to the top 1 through 3 overall finishers and the top 1 through 3 in each age group for the timed 5K. For the kids fun run, all participants are considered winners. Entry fees are listed as $35 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run. Registration opens April 20, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. Participants must register by September 5 to order a t-shirt; shirts cost $5 and are available in youth S to XL and adult S to XXL.
Early bib pickup is available on Thursday, October 1 at the Tosco Pizza parking lot in Eagleville. Race day registration is accepted but will not include a t-shirt. Refreshments, snacks, and water stations are provided. Parking is available at the Heebner Park Valley Forge Entrance with overflow at the Heebner Road Entrance.
