LA's Race Against Gun Violence : Los Angeles
LA's Race Against Gun Violence is the inaugural Los Angeles edition of the Race Against Gun Violence series. The event takes place in Carson, California at 18400 Avalon Blvd and features multiple run and walk distances as well as a youth sprint.
The Race Against Gun Violence celebrates the work of community organizations and provides a platform for raising unrestricted funds and expanding organizational networks. The series reports raising over $1 million in unrestricted funds since 2014, and the 2025 Chicago event drew more than 1,500 run and walk participants. Strides for Peace has partnered with over 300 organizations to date.
Qualifying 501(c)(3) Charity Partners receive 10 free entries to begin fundraising on the Race Against Gun Violence platform. Registration for the listed events opens May 1, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. Registration fees are listed for each event, with most adult distances shown at $40.00 and the youth sprint shown at $15.00.
