LA's Race Against Gun Violence
The inaugural Los Angeles Race Against Gun Violence is scheduled for August 16, 2026, at 18400 Avalon Blvd in Carson, California. The event presents multiple run, walk, and youth options and is associated with Strides for Peace, an organization that has partnered with more than 300 organizations.

Qualifying 501(c)(3) Charity Partners receive 10 free entries to begin fundraising through the RAGV platform. Since its founding in 2014, the Race Against Gun Violence has raised over $1 million in unrestricted funds, and the 2025 Chicago event attracted over 1,500 run and walk participants.
