2026 5K Raccoon Run & 1-Mile Fun Run - Lakeside Chautauqua
The event on July 26, 2026 at Lakeside Chautauqua centers on two distances: a 5k race and a One-Mile fun run. Both events include a commemorative T-shirt (sizes not guaranteed for registrations after July 5) and light refreshments available at the finish area. The 5k is chip timed and eligible for age-group finisher awards.

Start and finish locations are on site in Lakeside, including Orchestra Hall and Hoover Auditorium for the 5k, and the Lakeside Laundromat to Hoover Auditorium corridor for the fun run. Awards are presented on the steps of Hoover Auditorium and include overall trophies for the 5k, 1st–3rd place in each age division for the 5k, participation certificates for the One-Mile run, and an annual honorary award for the oldest participant to finish.
Registration pricing listed by the organizer includes a no-shirt 5k option, a group athletic team rate, and separate fees for the One-Mile run. Admission and parking fees are not included; a complimentary Recreation Event Pass is available to registrants from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at specific gates but does not grant pool or Hoover Auditorium entertainment access.
