2026 5K Raccoon Run & One Mile Fun Run
The event takes place at Lakeside Chautauqua with activities centered near Hoover Auditorium on July 26, 2026. Walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages will follow marked courses around the Lakeside perimeter and along residential streets.
Registration options cover a chip timed 5K and a one mile fun run. Registration may include a commemorative T-shirt; T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after July 5, 2026. A no shirt registration is offered for the 5K.

The 5K course starts near Orchestra Hall at Second Street and Walnut Avenue and finishes on Third Street at Hoover Auditorium. The one mile course starts near the Lakeside Laundromat at Second Street and Sycamore Avenue and finishes on Third Street at Hoover Auditorium. Turns are clearly marked and the one mile course follows flat terrain.
The event features chip timing, age group awards for the 5K, trophies for overall winners in men's and women's divisions, and certificates for one mile participants. An honorary award is presented annually to the oldest participant who finishes. Light refreshments are provided at the finish line and awards are presented on the steps of Hoover Auditorium.
