Quitcherbitchen' Trail Run
Quitcherbitchen' Trail Run is a multi-day trail event held on the trails of Phipps Park west of Billings, Montana. The event offers on-site and virtual participation across several distances and includes marked courses and volunteer support.
Distances offered:
- 8 miles
- 6 miles
- 4 miles
- 2 miles
- Virtual option
Courses are well marked and staffed by volunteers. There is one water or aid station along the course and the event is a no-paper-cup race, so participants are asked to bring a hydration pack or water bottle. Walkers are allowed in the 4 mile and 6 mile races and will start in the last wave; walkers are not permitted in the 8 mile race.
Awards are given to the overall top three men and women in each race. A cash giveaway totals $600 by awarding $20 to the first five men and first five women who ring the "Oh Hell Bell" at the summit feature on the 4 mile, 6 mile, and 8 mile courses.
Packet pick up is available the day before the event at The BaseCamp, 1730 Grand Ave, Billings MT 59102, with an option for out of town racers to pick up at the race site on race morning. The organizer donates $2 from every registration to local trail maintenance and education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
