Quiet Valley Rooster Run
The Quiet Valley Rooster Run is a chip timed 5K trail race held on July 11, 2026 at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg, PA. The course is one loop that tours the farm property and passes farm ponds, pastures, apple orchards, historic buildings, and a covered bridge.
The surface varies along the route and includes grass, dirt, gravel, and paved roads; participants should expect uneven footing. Finish times are recorded by timing chip and awards are determined by gun time. All runners must wear a timing chip on their shoe and their bib on the chest to receive a time and be eligible for awards.
Awards include first overall male and female, first masters male and female, and top two finishers by male and female age groups. Age groups span 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Entry fees listed for the event include a standard fee of $30 and an event day fee of $40. A youth price of $10 applies for ages 12 and under and Quiet Valley members receive a $5 discount when registration conditions are met. Proceeds benefit Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm, a nonprofit educational institution focusing on early agriculture and farm life. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
