Quicksilver Trail Challenge
The Quicksilver Trail Challenge is a trail running event on October 17, 2026 in San Jose, CA, organized by the Quicksilver Running Club. The event takes place in the historic Quicksilver mining territory of Almaden Quicksilver County Park at 19535 Mockingbird Hill Ln. The course uses scenic single track trails and fire roads that pass through oak forests and open meadows, offering views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The event includes multiple distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- One mile free Kids Race
All entrants receive a swag bag and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers and to the top finishers in each age group. Proceeds from the event are donated to local charities. Course maps and turn by turn directions are provided by the organizer. Registration opens July 1, 2026.
