Event overview

The Quicksilver Endurance Runs take place at the Hacienda Entrance of Almaden Quicksilver County Park, 21785 Almaden Road, San Jose, CA. The event includes the 41st edition of the Quicksilver Endurance Runs and the twelfth running of the 100K. Races run on single-track trails and fire roads through oak forests, meadows, and ridge views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Aid stations are described as fully stocked and there is post-race food and a finish BBQ. The race relies on more than 100 volunteers.

Course and competition details

The 100K features about 13,000+ feet of elevation gain and a 17-hour time limit. It is a Western States 100 qualifying race and a PA/USATF Ultra Grand Prix event; official finishers can qualify for the Western States 100. The 50K features about 6,000+ feet of elevation gain and includes a cutoff at mile 22.

Registration and policies

Registration closes on Saturday, May 2, 2026. A waitlist is available; a card is charged only if a spot opens and the entrant accepts it. Cancellations made before February 9, 2026 are eligible for a 50% rollover of the registration fee. On or after February 9, 2026 there is no refund or credit of entry fees.
