Quicksilver Endurance Runs
The Quicksilver Endurance Runs is a trail running event in its 41st edition. The event features two races with significant elevation gain. The 100K race has approximately 13,000 feet of elevation gain and is a Western States 100 qualifying race. The 50K race has approximately 6,000 feet of elevation gain. Both courses use scenic, hilly single-track trails and fire roads.
The event takes place at the Almaden Quicksilver County Park in San Jose, California. Runners will travel through oak forests, meadows, and along ridges with views of the Santa Clara Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains. Aid stations are provided. Fifty percent of the race proceeds go to non-profits focused on children's health or trail advocacy projects.
There are time limits and cutoffs. The 100K has a 17-hour time limit. The 50K has a cutoff at mile 22 by 4:00 PM. Registration includes a waitlist option. A partial rollover of the registration fee is available for cancellations before February 9, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
