Queer Run Philly 5K : 2026
Queer Run Philly 5K returns for its second year on June 13, 2026, at FDR Park in South Philadelphia. The event is organized by Queer Run, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in Philadelphia in 2022, and is presented in partnership with Students Run Philly Style and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.
The course uses FDR Park’s paved trail and consists of two loops. Participants have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the course. The event includes awards for the top three men, top three women, and top three nonbinary finishers. Early registration is listed at $45 and increases to $55 after May 13.
The event description emphasizes inclusion of queer and trans participants and says the race welcomes walking, running, and a range of paces and identities. The race uses a single start line and situates community and shared participation as central elements.
Volunteer roles are described for race day and include set up and breakdown of the start and finish area, decorating the course with chalk, staffing an on-course water station, and supporting the finish area with handing out medals and water.
