Quantico 12K - Marine Corps Marathon
The Quantico 12K is a road race held on August 22, 2026 on the training grounds of the Officer Candidates School (OCS) at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The course is 7.46 miles long and provides access through areas used for OCS training.
Registration for the 2026 event is open. Participants must be 14 years or older and able to maintain a 20 minute per mile pace. All participants are eligible to receive a finisher medal and a participant shirt; shirt size guides are provided.
The Marine Corps Marathon Organization offers a discounted Military Registration category for Active Duty and Reservists. Military registration is discounted from the event price, does not fluctuate, and remains open until the event sells out.
The Crossroads Cup is contested during the Quantico 12K on August 22, with Marine Corps Base Quantico units and tenant commands invited to compete; the winning team receives $500 in unit ball funds.
Transfers and deferrals are not permitted for 2026 registrations; all registrations are final. Optional registration protection and refundable registration plans are available through a third-party provider (TEAK) for eligible purchases and are subject to specific terms, documentation requirements, and time limits.
