Quantico 12K
The Quantico 12K is a 7.46 mile road race held on the training grounds of the Officer Candidates School (OCS) at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The 2026 edition is scheduled for August 22 and follows a course that provides access to areas used for Marine leadership training.
Registration for 2026 is open. All participants can earn a finisher medal and receive a participant shirt. Runners must be at least 14 years old and able to maintain a 20 minute per mile pace. The event offers a discounted military registration category for active duty and reservists; that category receives a price discount and remains available until the event is sold out.
The Crossroads Cup invites base units and tenant commands to compete on August 22, with the winning team receiving $500 in unit ball funds. The Quantico 12K also serves as Tier Three of the Distinguished Participant bundle, one of five live events required to earn that title and its exclusive medal.
The Marine Corps Marathon Organization does not permit transfers or deferrals for 2026 registrations; registrations are final. Refundable registration coverage is available through TEAK if purchased after February 27, with specific documentation and time limits for claims and stated exclusions for certain circumstances.
