QDR Jackson Heights Running Festival

Jackson Heights Mile & Relay QDR 2027

The Jackson Heights Mile & Relay is a community running event held in Jackson Heights, Queens, centered at Northern Playground (33-61 94th St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372). Registration is not yet open; the organizer will open registration ahead of the event and offers a notification option for when it goes live. The event program includes multiple races, age-group heats, relays, a kids dash, and a post-run community photo at Travers Park.

• 1 mile
• 5K
• 1 mile relay
• 5K relay
• Kids dash and Kids mile 18 & under

Awards are given for top finishers: top three M/F/X overall in the 1 mile in each heat, top three M/F/X by age groups in the 1 mile (39 & Under, 40 & Over), and top three M/F/X overall in the 5K. Baggage must be checked at Travers Park at least 30 minutes before a participant's heat; runners who leave bags there will find them arranged in numerical order after the finish. Bib pickup details note an early pickup to be determined, race day pickup at Travers Park within 60 minutes before each heat, and mailed bibs for virtual entries. The 1 mile course runs south on 94th Street, turns right onto the south road of 34th Avenue, has a slight incline near 82nd Street, and features a prolonged downhill for nearly the final 400 meters.
