Immigrants Run NYC 5K Run/Walk QDR 2027
Queens Distance Runners presents the Immigrants Run NYC, a community 5K run and walk held on February 14, 2026 in Queens. The course circles Flushing Meadows Corona Park and passes landmarks such as the Queens Unisphere and the New York State Pavilion. Parking is available at the Queens Museum building on Meridian Road, a short walk from the Unisphere where packet pickup takes place.
Half of the event proceeds will benefit N.I.C.E. The event includes a virtual participation option that lets participants upload times and photos starting on race day through the following Sunday. Virtual tracking suggestions include measured tracks and common apps; the event notes that four laps on a track equal one mile for tracking purposes.
Race amenities mentioned include live results by email text and web, free finish line photos, a personalized bib for registrations completed three weeks in advance, and a post-race DJ. Organizers have previously offered hot chocolate at this February event.
Age group recognition will be awarded for top three finishers in male female and nonbinary divisions across the following categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 10 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
