Elmhurst Mile QDR
The Elmhurst Mile QDR is a neighborhood road-mile event held in Elmhurst, Queens. The course begins at Frank O'Connor Park, follows Woodside Avenue past Little Thailand Way, turns onto 72nd Street, then onto 45th Avenue and finishes with nearly a half mile of downhill toward CC Moore Park.
Competition includes separate mile fields and a short untimed kids dash. Awards are given to the top three overall in the male, female, and non-binary divisions and to the top three in age groups 20-29, 30-39, and 40+.
Event services described by the organizer include day-of bib pickup at Frank O'Connor Park with a self-lookup option for bib numbers, virtual bibs shipped to entrants within a shipping window, live online/email/text results, same-day finish-line photos, and additional photos posted on social media. Baggage may be left at CC Moore Homestead Park; that location is less than a three-block walk to the race start.
Registration is not yet open; the organizer states registration will open ahead of the date listed on the event page and offers an option to receive a notification when registration goes live.
